| HR Antidotes Imitation is the
highest form of flattery -1.
Indeed it is, when the imitation is done by none other than your competitor
or ex-partner or ex-boss who had labelled you as "...completely
no new ideas..." during his dubious appraisal of your work performance!
Imitation the highest form of flattery -2:
When your 'regional' competitor follows and 'implements' your vision,
mission statement and more!!
Some HR "antidotes" for some HR
nuts...
- Have you ever being maliciously stabbed in the back
by your colleague/subordinate especially with lies and half-truths?
Do
not get stressed out. Be patient, do not bother to hit back - sooner
or later you will have the last laugh!
- Do you have a
boss who has 'light' ears and who swallows and directly or
indirectly encourages such malicious back-stabbing?
He is a very pitiful
and insecure boss indeed - lacking the most basic tenet of professionalism.
Probably he got to where he is now
through
this route.
- Did your unappreciative or ungrateful boss
or partner say "You got no
ideas"?
Say yes, you have plenty but they are just too good
for him and let him agonise over what you are up to next.
- Did your
boss just say the four -letter word - SACK - to you even
when there is no basis for him to do so?
Thank him! - he has just
opened up a whole new world of opportunities for you!
- Did your ex-employer
retain your hard-earned salaries without any justification?
Then
you can claim that you have contributed, not only with your hard
work but financially too, towards your ex-employer's past and current
success.
